Separate from our residence, you are free to feed the chickens and horses, visit the wineries, ride the train, go to the beach or just kick back and enjoy the day watching the hawks and eagles ride the thermals in search of prey. When the sun goes down, we’re walking distance to some lovely restaurants located in downtown Summerland!

We are located in Summerland, on a wine route known as Bottleneck Drive! An easy trip around the tasting rooms yields good conversation—usually with the owner, beautiful orchard/vineyard/lake views, and delightful Okanagan wines, uniquely affected by the volcanic soils of the Summerland area. A must do! |

Twice a day, all summer long, our peaceful valley is interrupted by the thunder of a 100 ton steam locomotive pulling a line of cars full of tourists along a 10 kilometer section of the historic Kettle Valley Railroad that exists through the effort of dedicated volunteers. Every time it goes by you have to look—it is spectacular! |

Our farm contains a riparian area that provides shelter for many forms of wildlife, serves as a host for birds and insects that benefit our farm, and yields a sanctuary for any guest who just wants to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature undisturbed. Just a few minutes on a bench under the canopy of trees and you will see why so proud to be Wildlife Habitat Stewards. |
